He got caught going 91 in a 55!! How the hell do you do that. Look I have a lead foot and I have to be careful because I enjoy speed but thats crazy. That being said this really isnt a big deal to him publicly this really isnt a news story. But hopefully Oregon will take his license away for a few months. That way we wont have to hear any more of this shenanigans.

If I could own some of the muscle cars of my youthful dreams, like a '68-69 vintage Yenko 427 Chevy Nova or Camaro, or a '70 Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertible, or a '67-'68 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 ("Eleanor")....I would likely very soon be racking up the speeding tickets too, even @ age 55. The very first traffic ticket that I was cited for, was for drag-racing on Gratiot in the summer of '74.

Im not saying that it in any way is a story but at some point this kid needs to learn. He just comes across bad when he does this shit.

I wasn't too worried until I saw that it was 91 in a 55... that's just really poor, especially coming off the previous accident. He needs someone to smack some sense into him...

At least he didn't hurt nobody? :-/

91 in a 55 is awfully close to felony reckless. It really could have been bad.

I hardly post but I just gotta say that some free ways have a speed limit of 55 MPH, the lodge for example. That's only 5 miles more than riding down Woodward or telegraph! I easily go between 20-30 miles over the limit traveling that way. If he was on an expressway I can't fault him because I know I rarely go the speed limit, not saying its right but lets be real. If you're not a perfect driver you sound like a hypocrite.

It does depend where and when. At night, any traffic? Going 45-50 near a school zone is much worse.

He was driving on I84.....fuck , they make it like he was zipping through neighborhood streets

i live here in potland are speed limit is 55 on the freeway people go 85-90 all the time no big deal

It really depends on where the 55 mph speed limit is. If you go to downtown Detroit on I75 it goes from 70 mph to 55 mph. Eveyone drives at least 80 miles per hour in that area and there is no reason not to...it's a 4 lane freeway and a straight away.

It's not a big deal as an isolated incident. However, he keeps making poor decisions on and off the field. The guy is a knuckle head!

Do you ever speed? If he was out by himself, meaning no other traffic 90mph is nothing. When I was younger I owned a Mustang and needed to know what kind of speed I could get :) . So I kept going going until I hit 160. Probably not safe but it happens.
