Anecdotally, I'm hearing that the lead attorney for the plaintiff is Ted Olson, and he recruited David Boyes to be on his legal team.

I'm hearing a group led by Rob Reiner initiated the complaint.

it's Boies

both he and Olson are pretty high-profile attorneys.

Olson comes from the Right though; Boies is tied to the democratic party

I didn't feel like checking the spelling.

If by "high profile" means that they were the two lead attorneys in a fairly famous case, Bush v Gore, then yes, I guess you could call them pretty high profile.

I actually forgot about that case. My understanding is that both Boies and Olson are considered completely "legit" as far as attorney abilities go. these are the guys you would call these you needed meticulously written legal briefs that "leave no stone unturned" and flawless courtroom arguments and performances, untainted by any negative personal associations.
