Take 3

Funny, as a Catholic, I feel liberated and empowered. Totally the opposite of what some others here claim.

I also recall that the Apollo 8 astronauts read from the Book of Genesis on Christmas Eve as their command module circled the moon. They brought scripture with them, printed on fireproof paper. I remember watching that on television.

um, he said "enslave" as in, to make a slave out of one.

the indoctrination part should be fairly clear.

hmmm. I dont feel anything like that, as a christian.......what religion is one talking about? Islam?

LOL... yeah religion deserves a lot of credit for that one. it was pretty cool how they just sat there and prayed, and god and jesus showed up and built the rocket ship for them to fly around in.

then jesus turned water to wine, and they all got lit.

Cardinal Glick: Fill them pews, people, that’s the key. Grab the little ones as well. Hook ‘em while they’re young.

Rufus: Kind of like the tobacco industry?

Cardinal Glick: Christ, if only we had their numbers.

I give some credence to the guys who were orbiting the moon on this one. They certainly earned the benefit of the doubt. I imagine if you had had that vantage point, you'd have railed on about being stuck in the middle seat of the command module.

oh.

I saw part of that. I hated it. I hate all Kevin Smith movies, except for Clerks.

I discussed this with someone on here once; I think it may have been diggler.

To each his own. I'm a sucker for anything with Carlin. RIP :(

Chasing Amy sucked but Mallrats was iconic. Clerks rocks, but Mallrats brought Dazed & Confused into the mix ......... I liked Dogma too, but it got a bit tired.

retard.

find my post in the prediction thread, Wiz.

"Looks like tsmith7559 wins with a prediction of 34-10"
