Should the Tigers give him a shot in ST, if he is not gonna cost them anything, since Toronto will be eating the remainder of his 5.5 M contract for '12?

Yeah, I know very well that he sucked last season at the plate, just like Inge, but what if he can show that he can still hit LH vs RH in a platoon w/ Inge only facing lefties?

If he doesn't do very well in ST, the Tigers could just dump him before the start of the season, seems like they have absolutely nothing to lose by doing so, and just maybe can get something for nothing?

Blue Jays Designate Mark Teahen For Assignment

Nobody I could ever be excited about, but considering our options at 3B in 2012, might as well kick the tires on him in ST.

3B this year is going to be a mess of hot stinking garbage (even if Teahen was a Tiger) unless DD works some magic.

The alternative is Brandon Inge's career .235/.305/388 FT @ 3B,and we all saw how that has worked out, in '11's .197/.265/.283 cuz he just can't seem to show up at the plate during the regular season, like Charles Brandon Ingenigma's .288/.360/.439 has in the postseason, for whatever weird-ass reason.

Only way I want a shitty player like this if we will get rid of a shitty player in Inge. I don't want both on this team.

I always liked Mark but man third base is going to be a problem damn it..

The Tigers have a legacy of weak-hitting 3B's, with the exception of Kell, Fryman, Boone and Pinky Higgins. Even some one with the hitting stats of a Scott Livingstone would be an upgrade.
