Team HR and SB facts

LOL yeah, maybe not as good as I remembered. But the SB/CS ratio doesn't change the way I remember him for knowing when to stretch a single into a double, or a double into a triple. He was a very good baserunner.

That's what I like, what we all do - get the extra base, score from second and move from first to third on a single.

That's quite scary. Let's hope that a change of scenery brings about new trends for the newbies.

Yep. I still cant figure out our offensive retooling. While Id like better baserunning overall, whats the point of it if no one can get on base and theres not people to knock them in?

I have to imagine as much bitching as we did about all the bunting last year, there will be even more this year.

We have fewer guys who can be counted on to put the ball in play themselves, any significant injury to Cabrera, Hunter, Martinez, or Avila and we might end up in 4th place. One of Choo/Granderson/Beltran would have changed the look of this team completely.

At somewhere at the 156M+ payroll For 18 players. Seven contracts are not on Cot's as of this date of posting. Which should push the payroll to 160 this 2014. Adding a high FA would be adding trouble down the road as Fielder's payout starts in 2016. And hold on when Verlander's 28 M's start in 2015,2016,2017,2018,2019. Relief comes in 2020 at 22Mill.
And should the Tigers sign Cabrera wow no telling what that going to cost!

People down on the farm are going to have to start coming up and filling in more than they have. Really the window for winning is close to being broke?
