Denver has almost as many TO's and one of the best defenses. There goes your theory.

Not as many and it depends where the turnovers are.

Like I said there were 3 bad run days and a handful of big plays too. Denver probably didn't have that agains them. Denver brings more pressure too.

The Lions always play better when they are winning the turnover battle. See 2011 and 2014 as proof.

33,34 turnovers and now 21. 4-12, 7-9 and now 3-7.

So our defense is only good when we don't have TO's? Other teams have TO's and the defense stops them..

Really? You mean like the other 31 teams.

Turnovers can screw you. Like I said, it depends where the turnover is.

And how many. 6 in one game (like Arizona) gives the defense no chance.

So what you're getting at once we turn the ball over the defense folds? Like Chris Johnson average of 10 yards a carry or Palmer's YPA of over 11? The only thing TO's did was some shorter drives. But we weren't stopping them regardless..

Just to add, they scored so fast that we dominated in time of possession so it's not like our defense was winded.

Sudden change 6 times is bad for a defense. It made it worse than it was. Cardinals have a good offense. We didn't play well defensivly but the turnovers amplified it. Same with KC game.

However, Chargers game, at Vikings game, Denver game, Chicago game turnovers made our defense look worse than they were too. And lead to points for other team.

that was my point thru 6 weeks....Stafford was killing our defense with untimely turnovers, horrible 3 n outs on plays he easily could have extended drives and terrible field position. Last 2 games have been better.

It wasn't just Stafford. In fact Stafford was the least of the problems given the blocking and run game. It was 8 different players with 8 fumbles in 8 games (1 was Stafford but that was a protection blind side hit). And half the picks were not Stafford's fault. 75% of the turnovers weren't Stafford's fault.

Way too many sacks and hits that killed drives. 22 and 64 in 8 games. Tate and Calvin's YPC dropped big time due to the the pressure too. And less blocking (remember Ross blocking now it's Lance Moore).

Stafford and Calvin and Riddick were the shining stars. Tate was solid. Ebron was solid in the first half, not great the last two games. Moore was hit or miss.
