touch? - but I don't live in the thumb of Michigan - the biggest redneck area north of the Mason Dixon line.

Who is more likely to be a redneck, a Michigan graduate with two engineering masters degrees, who moved to one of the fastest growing cities in America (Atlanta), or you, who resides in the thumb?
