The last two days!?!?!?

Hey Admin, what's going on with this board? Yesterday, and part of the previous night, when I came here, there was a message that said the board was down to test for compatibility issues until between 2 and 4am on 3/21. It continued all day yesterday and later in the night it sent me to another site with the exact same url as this board.

But now, it seems that it's working and other people have been posting during these two days of downtime. What's going on?

We moved to a new server. The move itself only took about an hour, but it takes some time for all ISPs to point to the new nameservers.

Took about three hours for it to work again for me, and by looking at the online list, it took about the same for most members.

However it can sometimes take up to 48hrs for some people, but that's VERY rare. Only a few hours for most.

Guess you fit into that small group. :shrug:

Dude, i was getting so pissed off. Especially during the Michigan game. I wanted to see the game thread, but I was just now able to get on.

That's really strange though for it to take that long. Back in the early days of the 'net it was like that, but it's rare now.

It happened to me too, but worked fine during the hours it said it would be down. I had my issues after the time frame in the message, but was fine during it. Weird....
