Well, here we are ...the stretch run of the 2018 MICHIGAN FOOTBALL campaign.
Coming off a much deserved 'IDLE' week and a win over little brother the weekend before, a well-rested and healthier #5 ranked Wolverine football program looks to host the 14th ranked (6-2) Penn State Nittany Lions. Beginning the year with what should have been a loss to everyone's favorite Cinderella, App State, the Nittany Lions have dropped two games - one to ohio state in come from behind loss fashion and a slapping at the hands of sparty.
Coach Franklin, once showered with praise as the new darling among BigTen coaches, faces his self-named arch nemesis in Jim Harbaugh, coming into the game as the road underdog with MICHIGAN at -10.5pts and an Over/Under of 52.5 total points. With some relatively close games this season and yielding an average of 23ppg, Penn State has yet to face a Defense like MICHIGAN's and a truly balanced attack such as the Maize and Blue's.
But we all know McSorley is a gamer ...as is Shea Patterson. During the history of the "rivalry" the Home Team has a dominant win/loss record, especially when playing as a Home Favorite. Over the more recent run, Penn State has had the advantage, winning five of the last eight, but prior to that MICHIGAN ripped off nine in a row vs Nittany.
Is it time to start another streak...??
So go ahead and post your score predictions with some supportive analysis if you wish, but leave the woofing and barking for other threads.
