What happened on September 11th?

Champ, my best buddy I grew up with, he's a great big lefty like you, and he's a lawyer in DC, he lives in Arlington and he called me 10 years ago and left me a message and his voice was choked up.

On the message he said he could see the smoke coming from the area where the Pentagon is.

My ex-brother in law was booked on United 93 for that morning 10 years ago but he rescheduled his trip to go to a meeting in the twin towers. The meeting ended up being postponed right at the end of the day on Monday, September 10th.
