in the entire NFL.......it's freakin' incredible......fucking remarkable......and totally and completely INCONCEIVABLE!!!! i mean, we lions fans seem to go through an entire gamut of emotions each and every time our team suits up.......from the depths of despair and wanting everyone fired especially the special teams coach....(actually i STILL want him fired) plus some people even WANTED TO BENCH STAFFORD......to the heights of ecstasy when it seems nothing can go wrong and staff looks like a friggin mvp candidate......

this team is AMAZING and absolutely RIDICULOUS.......how can they appear so astoundingly inept in one instance and so completely indefatigable the next? i don't know plus i don't care......all because i believe this team HAS A CHANCE ON THURSDAY even should they begin the game as sluggish as usual. this team commits a LOT OF ERRORS on gameday.....however they do seem to have the intangible that every good to great team must possess in their genetic makeup..... the inherent ability to storm back from seemingly impossible odds and unrecoverable deficits......THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE GREAT.

the packers are coming in on thursday and these boys BETTER BE LOADED FOR BARE.....GREEN BAY WILL NOT BE BULLSHITTING COME TURKEY DAY......i promise you they've BEEN HAD this upcoming tilt circled and x'ed out......they KNOW we are one of the biggest obstacles standing between them and 16-0...... but even if the leo's somehow aren't prepared (and shame on them if they're not) at least we understand that one matthew stafford can just suddenly ignite into a straight ball of flame that seems nearly impossible to snuff out again......

hell, lets be honest here.....we know the lions are going to once again start off as if they're mentally fucking challenged and cause us all to question our fandom plus wonder whether someone up above despises our asses........only to witness them engineer yet another unconscionable comeback to make us seem like whiny ass bitches.......and you know what?.......i betcha we'd rather not have it any other way. JUST WIN ON THURSDAY, DAMMIT.

We are supposedly the first team since 1950 to have 3 comeback wins of 17 points or more (17, 20 and 24).

May I be the first to say that I HATE IT, or more like I hate that games have to come to that for us to win. Reminds me of the year the bears went to the superbowl and their defense was bailing them out with interception returns and sack fumbles and anything else you can imagine. I'm sure it's great for casual football watchers, but it sure as hell is stressful to watch.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with any win we can get, but this is getting to be pretty bad on my nerves. We also won't be able to pull this type of thing off on better teams so I hope they get it together and play better first halfs of football from here on out.

It can be emotional but after the fact I'm glad they win this way. Something to talk about and revel in.

Amazingly, versus Denver and KC were our only decent games. When this team finally hits on all cylinders watch out!

Not being a hater, but it was the lions lol.

Stafford is favre jr it seems like. Just better hope he's more careful in the playoffs lol.

Good job though.

Take one game away and its 24 TD's and 6 INT. So, ah, please.

Btw, you know who has as many or more INT than Staff? Brady, Brees and Rivers. That's my fun "get out with that shit" fact of the day.

I see Matt as more Marino than Favre.

one things for damn sure, the kid can catch fire in less than a friggin' heartbeat, something this squad hasn't had the luxury of at the quarterback position for eh, lets say 54 FUCKING YEARS.

I didn't know a comparison to favre was such an insult lol.

I'm talking about his arm strength, lives and dies by it. For now, he's young though.

But more so of his personality. Seems like a little kid out there playing. Also is tough, even with the ton of injuries lol.

hell, i'm fucking thankful he's my quarterback......yeah, he's still a kid, but he's iron tough and he can and will explode on your defense in less than a tick. there aren't many in the league like staff......you can count the guys of comparable talent on one freakin' hand.

Marino had a cannon too. Stafford is young he's going to force things when he shouldn't.. He's young. Brett never learned that.

Limited time last year, 6 TD 1 INT. Take out the Bears game and he has 24 TD 6 INt. When did Staff get labeled as one to make the wrong decision or force throws?

Welcome to internet message boards...where in the opinion of accountants, college students and construction workers...everyone sucks and one bad game sticks with you for your entire career.

if you could take out a bad game a lot of qb stats would be better. If you take out todays game he's 19tds-8ints.

I didn't know a favre comparison would go so wrong lol.

it could be because of WHEN WE BEGIN to compete in big time playoff contests, coming from where we've crawled out from under, we NEVER wish to witness staff toss away the amount of games on asinine play as favre was more than apt to do.......i just don't think we could take it....

On one hand I like that they have the ability to play out of their minds at times, but on the other hand you have to ask why they can't play that well all the time. Sometimes its like they are out there and all of a sudden they collectively go ya know what if we try like really hard and stuff we could probably win this game. I'm just confused as to why they never start the game with that mentality.
