Yes and there's a reason Greg didn't work in SVG's system, he isn't a perimeter shooter, and cost rather more than an Aron Baynes to keep around as the reserve C.

The point is not that Thon would be poor selection, rather he can't start beside Drummond, the starting 5 is in place already, I don't think Tobias would take too kindly being moved to the bench. He had to endure enough of that in Orlando.
