Tigers bats took a grand total of three pitches in thier first, CA matches that with thier first batter..this is why the offense struggles againts weaker pitchers, they are too aggressive and don't force ave pitchers into the zone when they need to

Agreed, JV didn't get the call on a better pitch than that last inning. Hopefully it's not gonna be a trend.

The Angels get the 1st base runner of the game on a jam shot single after the 1st 27 guys failed to reach. The MLB record is 30 back in 1991 during the Dennis Martinez perfect game. That surprises me for some reason. I would have figured in the history of baseball it would have been more like 36 or 38 batters.
