Tigers vs. blue jays Spring Training April 2

I'd use this line up with Fister and Porcello.

For JV and Max I'd put Raburn at 2B, DY at DH, and Dirks in LF hitting 9th

Switch Raburn with Young in LF.

Leyland needs to find a good fit at DH and Young may be it.... despite not wanting to DH.
As a DH, Young is hitting .316 with an on-base percentage of .345, a slugging percentage of .494 and an impressive .839 OPS

Drew Smyly not exactly leading to Leyland buyer's remorse: No hits through three inning, two K's, minimal pitches. Very mature performance.

Tigers with the Big Crush early in this one 9 - 0.

Smyly has given up one hit through four innings. This may not be the Jay's 'A' lineup, but these are at least big-leaguers.

5th inning and Smyly allowed 4 runs, three singles, SAC fly, home run -- four quick runs for the Jays in the fifth, Omar Vizquel, entering his 24th year in the big leagues, hit the homer off Smyly.

Tigers lead 9 - 4.

2 more runs by Tigers, Dirks drives them in after a double steal,
Tigers 11 - bluejays 5.

Safe to say Tigers want to get out of Lakeland and head to Detroit for start of the season,
Score 9 runs in the first couple innings, 2 more in the eighth inning, 16 hits, and 3 errors, hold on for an 11 - 8 win over bluejays.

Leyland said after game he expects 25-man roster to be set tomorrow.
So it sounds like they'll decide tomorrow if Inge goes on disabled list.
the inge drama/saga continues.

They are stopping by Toledo for a game vs. the Mud Hens. I hope the most of the regulars play in the game.

Tom, That's right...they do play in Toledo before getting back to Detroit,

Slick, sounds like the perfect plan.
