we ain't had a decent 2 hitter, and a 2nd basemen since Polonco left. for a measly 5 or 6 mill. we could have kept him and filled both holes. yet they paid Cringe that much and he wasn't worth a shit.

Polanco was only a decent 2-hole hitter in 2007 (and half of '05), so we've only had a decent 2-hole hitter for one year out of the last dear-lord-i-have-no-idea. i do miss his rock-solid defense though.

surprisingly off to a nice start. My question is....is turner really this far away that crosby and smyly amongst a number of others get the start before him. Many people on here assume him to be a piece in trade opportunities so youd figure now would be a great chance to showcase him prior to the trade deadline. All these other ppl getting called up infront him would suggest the team doesnt want to trade him as much as everyone else does....id think.
