Over the last 10 games, the Detroit Tigers are hitting .184, scoring 18 runs with 102 SOs.
35 of their 66 runs scored this year came on 24 HRs. That's 53% dependent upon the HR ball. It also means they aren't advancing runners with consistent hitting. Instead, SOs are out of control. 13 of them yesterday.
It's not just this year. They have ranked at the top or near the top in total strikeouts and worst plate discipline for the past 4 years.
