Gameday.

Fangless Tigers can't provide any run-support for who has been their best SP during this shortened season...not that it means all that much. TTBDNS top 5th and have only 3 singles off of Cy keller.

Migwell a K away from earning hisself a golden sombrero tonight, hopefully keller will be relieved the next time he comes to bat.

Norris Ks the side in the bottom 6th in relief of Turnbull.

duffy in relief of keller top 7th.

Tigers finally get on the board via Harry single-Goodrum double-Dixon PH grounder to short. 3-1.

Goodrum steals third, scores on Haase sacfly to center 3-2.

Cisnero in relief bot 7th, not sure why not pitch Norris another frame, but w/e.

Migwell lines out to short to end top 8th...no 4 K game tonight most likely. But no tape-measure multi-rbi homers, either.

Farmer stops the royals from padding their lead in the bot 8th, last call for Tigers to avoid losing yet another close one run score.

Harry grounds to short leading off top 9th.

Goodrum walks.

Dixon Ks swinging.

Haase Ks swinging.

5th consecutive loss and 4th in a row by one run 3-2.

Even IF the Tigers were to win both remaining games of the series/season on Sat and Sun @ royals, they will still finish in the ALCD cellar now by pct 24-34,414 vs royals 25-35 .417.

red sux lose in 11 8-7 @ braves, so they maintain their hold on the #3 slot in the '21 draft. dbacks won both games vs rockies and "fall" to #5, and Tigers take over #4 as a result. Tigers can finish no better than for the #3 slot b/c the rangers have 38 losses and the most that they can lose by playing 58 is 36 games.
