A.J. Hinch said Gary Jones won?t coach first base for more than a month. He has a fracture in his ankle. He?ll still do pregame work and other duties. Mike Hessman will coach first for now.

Spencer Torkelson since May 14th has a wRC + just over 100.

Tigers and Twins split doubleheader as Jonathan Schoop carries Detroit in the night cap.
The Tigers were blown out in game one but evened the score. However, they lost yet another pitcher as Joey Wentz went down with a shoulder injury.
