Kittens just can not hit. Baby pen throw a failed pen today.
But the real story is the failure to hit. Way too many strikeouts. Kittens lose that 12 to sox 6. A battle they have lost too many times. Strikeouts equal to no hits in the AB. Twelve strikeouts equal 4 innings of outs. Twice as many as what the sox gave!
Any one not hitting .250 needs to sit.

Houston is leading the league with a team BA of .274. They have 11 guys that are hitting at or above .250. Boston has 10

BAVG is a hollow stat. OBP is a better indication. Grossman leads the team with OBP (over 50 PA) and has all season long. Yet, he falls short of that magical .250 BAVG.

I did see the AB from Haase that broke up the no hitter yesterday and to be honest he had him stuck out couple pitches before the hit. Ump didn't give him the call. Tigers should have been no hit yesterday.

Nick can opt out after this season. If he continues to rake like this he will probably do it.

So, he could come back to Detroit...probably take 4 years and over $100M to do it.
