Now that the Detroit Tigers will finish the season below .500, combined w/being 2 games out of 2nd place with only 3 games to go, it appears that A. J. Hinch has changed his priorities for these last couple of games.

He's putting together lineups that feature more of the players with questionable futures. Five of them just the other night. He's also moving them around in the lineup as well defensively. All to determine their strengths and flexibility. And value.

Count on Hinch to weigh in on each of these players as the Tigers determine who stays and who goes as the Front Office makes up their shopping list. Maybe even as soon as next week.

Now that the Detroit Tigers have clawed their way out of the basement, isn't it time for their broadcast team to do the same? We're talkin' to you Bally Sports Detroit.
We won't even go into the non-stop chatter, cumulus cloud tutorials, constant idolizing of their former Tiger broadcast partners or the monotone that is more appropriate at a golf tournament. And because Twitter only gives us 280 characters, there's much more we could add.
But the call that Niko Goodrum hit his 2nd HR of the year, instead of his 2nd HR of the night, is 1 reason why they ranked 30th out of 30 last year and will easily win that dubious distinction again this year. Fans will happily chip in for an industrial-size broom for you to use.
