Any of you guys watch/follow AZ State football? Marcus Hardison could be a good option for us in the draft. From what I've read on him, he's extremely quick off the line, and would fit the versatile type DT we might be looking for. More DT depth is a must. Round 3-5 projection.

*Marcus Hardison, DT, Arizona State*
Height: 6-3. Weight: 307.*
Projected 40 Time: 5.28.*
Projected Round (2015): 3-5.*
3/7/15:*Hardison exploded onto the Pac-12 scene in 2014. The senior flashed some pass-rush ability with 10 sack and 15 tackles for a loss. He also had 53 tackles, three forced fumbles, two passes broken up and two interceptions. At the Senior Bowl, Hardison put together a quality week. Hardison was a backup as a junior and didn't see the field much. He started out his collegiate career in the junior college ranks.

Only been here near 2 years and just recently started watching some ASU football. So probably not the one too ask. Maybe INK, ASU right in his backyard I think..or maybe he's in Tucson?

I'm in Sierra Vista, which is home to U of A SV... little sister of UofA. However, since we never, EVER, get Michigan football on TV down here, I do watch a lot of UofA and ASU both.

My take on Hardison is that his size is good, strength is a plus for him, but his footwork is lousy and I personally think the guy is lazy.

Basically, he's Nick Fairley with less talent.

So well pick him up and decline his 5th year option

That would shock me considering only first round players get the 5th year option now, and everyone else is a 3 or 4 year deal with no 5th year.

To assume Hardison would go in the first is way off base in my opinion. I'm no scout, but I would think 4th or 5th round for this guy.

Is he being projected that high? I don't really check the mock draft sites. I'd be stunned at a first round pick for him.
