Top 10 1b of all time

That is a pretty impressive list. I always loved watching Eddie Murray growing up. I remember a game against the Tigers he hit a homerun batting right handed. Then Sparky put and RHP in there and he hit another homerun batting left handed.

Where on earth is Stan Musial? He would be second or third on my Top 10 1B list. A glaring omission.

Thome has 1,100 games at 1B.
Killebrew 979 games at 1B and a combined 1,100+ at other positions.

Musial qualifies.

Got to go with Bill Terry hit .401 in a season. Orlando Cepeda as one of the best glove men at 1st. His glove put the Cards in the 67 and 68 WS. Defense never gets its due. Pete Rose played over 500 games at first. Not to say no one on the list should not be on it. But not sure they are the top 10. BTW one of them that's still playing could tumble a little!

Well you have to remember this is the same writer who put Doug Fister in the top 100 all time Tigers, after half a season.

I remember now.
For the most part the guy Don Keko? does a nice job of info about the Tigers, but this just seems to be put together in a hurry without checking some stats, ie; games played at the position.

Yeah, for a while I though he was TyCobb420 because TY posts links from him all the time including the hair brained ones about how Obama is the worst US president of all time, but G. W. Bush was one of the best.....in the politics section.

I take it (Keko articles) all with a 40lb bag of grains of salt.

Murray hit one of the longest home runs I ever saw in person. The thing went would have cleared center field at Tiger Stadium had the bleachers not been there. Musial is probably lumped in the outfield. I have seen lists like this before with Musial in left field, but not at first.

Everyone has opinions. He overestimated Bush but you underestimate Obama and not in a good way.

I don't want to get into politics, but the last time it was taken, a poll had Bush's favorability rating higher than Obama's.

Imo, no one is lower than Obama. But as a conservative is not hard to think that. The same way liberals think of Bush I suppose.

Last of the political debate.
