Wings lost last night 5-4 to the Blackhawks and were trailing 4-1 with before making a late rally to make it close.. We were starting a lot of younger players..

ESPN had an interesting article about Larkin being so good he might force the Wings to play him. I haven't been able to catch any of the preseason games yet, but it would be pretty incredible for ANY young player to make the Wings NHL team so quickly. But then again, depending on Helm's health after that big hit, there might be a spot for another center available.

Larkin for sure is the real deal but you know the wings. they like to move guys up slowly like you said..
