Lost to France in in the quarterfinals 89-79. I woke up heard the score was USA 75-71. Did something. France goes on a 10-0 run and that was that. Usa missed free throw after free throw down the stretch and look real bad. First time since 2006 USA will not capture gold. They did capture a birth in the 2020 Olympics but best they can finish is
5th now.

Didn't they lose a game to Australia or something 2-3 weeks ago and the players basically were just sayings it was a meaningless game. They become smug because it's the US. Just coasting along. I would hate to be one of those players.. Maybe it does them good.

I'd care more if it wasn't USA's C team. It will be interesting to see how many players from this squad are on the Olympic team.

Also, Kemba Walker looked like absolute dog shit. Donovan Mitchell carried that team for three quarters and Kemba just had to 'get his' in the 4th. Pissed it all away.

Yeah in the preliminary round. Unsure why that loss didn't stop the streak.

I get these aren't the best that could have went but based on what some of the players said after their prelim loss it seemed to me anyway they thought they would just roll.
