After six games with the Tigers winning 5 of then one can see saving 49 games this season may not be possible? Looking at how many runs this team is able to put on the score board makes it really hard for a closer to come into a game with a save option available. IE coming in with a 4 or more run lead is not a save situation.

The game today gave a reliever a win three pitchers got holds and the closer got ?. Really this could be a real problem for the reliefers this season on the Tiger. IE Tigers have been winning games in ways that do not give save situation's options.
Valverde could see fewer save situation games this season.

Of course one could look at this as a nice problem to have.

LT, Pitchers, starters and relievers all like the wins/saves/holds on their record....but all will tell you "the win" is what matters most importantly for the team.
