Up 47-37 at the half. Playing as well as we can offensively. Just beautiful to watch. Ohio State hitting a few deep and contested 3s to keep it this close, but otherwise that was a dominant half. Could easily be a 20 point lead.

Just a stunning team to watch pass the ball, 17 first half assists. Ohio State has the best defense in the conference and there is nothing they can do to offer any resistance. Just unreal. Harris has 6 assists.

Beautiful basketball on the offensive end. Up 10 with no contribution from Forbes.

Yeah, we were speculating about winning with Forbes having an off night, he's 1-6 and we're playing our best game offensively of the season.

Defense needs to step it up though.

They just showed costellos dad and jackson walked by. Why has there been no jackson chant??thats izzone 101 bullshit

This is the most fun Izzo team to watch ever. Just so unselfish and they play hard.

We're no where close to a top 10 team in the country talent wise, but this team is better as a whole than anyone else.

I am not a fan of Tum Tum anymore. He is a back up point guard at this level......nothing more.

I know Valentine does a TON for this team, but he really needs to get a hand up on D

27-4-13 for Valentine on 9-13 from the field. Incredibly efficient. When he plays this relaxed the game is easy for him, he just picks teams apart.

Hes always been that. I dont like him I dont dislike him, I m concerned of backlash because ther are lots of "tum tum is the best player on the planet" followers. He just isnt B10 material, unfortunately.

I've never heard a single MSU suggest Tum Tum is anything more than average. Normally he has a great turnover to assist ratio, but today he was bad.

I think he reminds me a lot of Travis Walton in his first two years at msu. He can do everything well except shoot, I'm not giving up on him being a productive player. Even though his Stat lines aren't good he gives Denzel 6 extra minutes of rest so he can spill it out there for 32 minutes vs conserving energy for 38.

I felt Walton was pretty solid his sophomore year on a talent deficient team running the point and defending while Drew Neitzel did the scoring. His Junior year he was terrible trying to mesh with all the freshman talent they brought in at guard (Lucas, Allen, Summers), then he rebounded for a solid senior season. He was never a shooter but his senior year he learned to develop a comfort level hitting the 17-18 footer and not hesitating to take them when he was open, and was terrific defensively.

I think Tum Tum's loss was felt defensively initially when he went out and he is having a hard time getting back into a rhythm now that he's back. To become serviceable offensively he needs to focus on a couple of things and just do them. Be able to step in and hit the 18 footer and learn to finish better when he gets to the rim. He certainly has the speed to get to the basket, but hasn't really learned how to harness it yet.

And one other thing about the game today, that's several good games in a row now they've gotten out of Clark off the bench since Goins went down.

Youre lucky Ive heard many during his first 2 years (and at least 1-2 on this board) tout him as "awesome" (but for no reason). :hmm:

Well he has had a lot of 6 assist zero turnover games, but he can't shoot a lick and appears to have lost some confidence on the drive. Still valuable and he knows our offense and next year will make sure we run the right sets with a bunch of young guys in the floor.

Man, we just missed on Ulis, can you imagine?

Marvin Clark is just a sophomore, but he has the body of a senior and is really playing with energy. You ever notice how so many of our players really improve their athleticism while at MSU, Clark is becoming a plus athlete. He lost a little weight in the off season and really looks like he has a little more lift and speed.

I'm calling it right now, Iowa will get beat in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

They make so many bad mistakes for this stage of the season. Blown assignments on D, not blocking out, bad shots on O, and they never throw it into the post. How did they kick our ass twice?

Weve just missed on a few great players. Its high time we get what we deserve, Thats Jackson.

We didn't miss on Miles Bridges, he's a top 10 player and the top athlete in the class.

Just heard about D Davis, he went to Izzo before the game and told him he wanted to give up his starting spot to Colby Wollenman on senior day. Wow, good kid.
