Vs OSU

We didn't miss on Miles Bridges, he's a top 10 player and the top athlete in the class.

Just heard about D Davis, he went to Izzo before the game and told him he wanted to give up his starting spot to Colby Wollenman on senior day. Wow, good kid.

I noticed wollenman out starting, Yeah he seems pretty quite and not the type to take Izzos rants . Ohhh, I meant weve missed a lot of top players the last 10 years or so. Were finally getting a stacked class which IS WHAT ID EXPECT more years than not. About fucking time, 1 all american every other year aint a doin it for me.

They talked about it quite a bit during the telecast.

So Forbes had his "off" night - OSU deserves some credit for that as he seemed to have a hard time getting open. The only thing I didn't like about that game was OSU scoring 76 on us. And unlike w/ Rutgers where they scored 41 then just 25 in the second half, OSU spread it evenly between 2 halves. I was hoping/expecting a similar pattern where we would shut them down in the second half. Hopefully we see more of the team the shut down Maryland and Indiana going forward.

yeah, i was a little nervous about that having given the points - then when OSU started pressing late down big I thought, "here we go again. please don't take the starters out now!" it worked out.

Ive seen us blow some giant leads by the press but ive never seen us press. We should press a few times per year.

Maybe izzo wants to conserve energy but I like the press in the 30 second shot clock Era. You can eat up 10 to 12 seconds of the clock and they get into their offense late, downside is more fouling.

I hate playing the same team 3 times in 18 days! That being said, we didn't even play that well the last game and still blew them out. I'm sure the team wants to fix what they did wrong the last game.

OSU keeps it close, maybe even has a lead most of the first half, we turn it up in the second half and win by 13.

I don't like playing any team for a third time unless we split the regular season. The only team I was kind of hoping to see for a 3rd time in the BTT was Iowa. I'd like see them to lead by double digits for 35, at least 30 minutes and it would be nice if they did it with solid defense. I've been watching a lot of hoops lately, there are a bunch of teams in the tournament (KU, WVA, villanova, Xavier, OK, UNC, A&M even teams like Seton Hall and Providence) that can put points on the board against just about any team out there, except maybe Virginia but even they have been in some shootouts.

I guess even in a shootout I like our chances against just about anyone but I'd be more comfortable if we had a solid defense to fall back on.
