We are DOOMED.

from a Clinton supporter on Instagram (an NBA player) with a picture of his daughter. Maybe he needed to stay in school. He also assumes the parent's of his daughter's play date voted for Trump.

How do you explain to this face what happen? You can be a educated women in your field an not get the job because your a women or cause your black? How do you say "go try your best" even though it won't be good enough. How do I even feel confident sending her on play dates knowing the kids family voted for the racist, sexist person an I don't know how they will treat her when she's gone. How? Seriously How? I understand let go and let God! But damn!

This is why Hillary lost. This was the message being sent. They should have focused on policy, but it became about feminism and anti-racism. The other main cause was Bernie and his drones in the primaries and the salt thereafter. But the message was the biggest problem, IMO.

As always you're spot on.

I am glad I'm seeing as many people blame Clinton and the Dem establishment as I am.

Bernie and 'his drones' got fucked over. I'm glad they had a say in her demise. Fuck her.

Wikileaks had a part to play. I don't know if they are working with Russia and/or Trump, but Podesta's hacked emails certainly cemented to "corrupt" label for Hillary and the DNC. Obviously the RNC has the same issues, but they never became public.

Still, the ineptitude of Hillary's message was the biggest factor. All she really had to say is that she will continue Obamas policies and work with Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders to progress them to the next level. Instead, she continued to lie about emails and turned Trump into a monster. I got sick of it and I know a lot of Dems that did too.

wikileaks didn't have a part - this is classic shoot the messenger. Wikileaks didn't set up her server or lie about it. They didn't lie about Benghazi and the video. They didn't make up the graft of the Clinton foundation. All of that is 100% on her. We deserved to know all of that and Wikileaks provided the information but she's responsible for all of it.

Moore nailed it with his three min clip from trumpland, the brexit states pushed him over the top, penn, mi, oh, wi..the hardest hit by all the years of crap unbalanced global trade, and good! It's long overdue!

Yeah, I agree. Fuck them SOOOOO hard.

I think the most prescient thing I've read that sums up my feelings on this is this article. And I think he's 100% right. Sanders would've driven Trump into the ground.

reading through twitter yesterday, I was also reminded of this article that I remember troubled me the first time I read it, but seems strangely comforting now. I think the first sentence of paragraph three pretty much hits the nail on the head.

Moore's post was good too. I hope the DNC cleans house and brings in some people who will listen, and heed these words of wisdom. and hopefully also walk the walk when they get elected

Now we just have to survive four years, or at least until the midterms, if we can take back the house and senate.

Here's some good comedy from that third paragraph
The left?s na?ve, sentimental, middle-class view of ?the people? blinds them to all of the malice and spite that is a major premise of Middle American life.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better example of the lack of self awareness from the tone deaf left than this steaming pile of crap. The left's thought leaders are a bunch of elitist grievance peddlers that have nothing but contempt for the middle class.

I like that 1st article, but man, that 2nd one is dark.

I know someone I might forward that 1st article to.

So...what if, democrats learn the opposite lesson from this loss and next election we get their version of Trump?

Who would it be?

I saw someone talking about Jon Stewart.
