when we first got him i read all the posts and saw everybody talking about how much he sucked. i didnt think he was this good and i didnt think he sucks, great game. he might just be the HB that we need to finish out the season

He has all the motivation in the world and is gonna make the most of his second chance. Don't drink too much kool-aid yet though, we'll get a better judge of him (and our entire team) on Thursday. I'm pumped for that game!

Spot on. When I saw him go over to the sidelines and pray... well... that's something I don't think I've ever seen him do. Maybe time away from football is what he needed to motivate himself? I don't know.

Yeah... I'd give more credit to 30 than the Oline. He made some epic cuts.

Plus I didn't see a single turf monster sighting the whole game

Not that Carolina is any good against the run though...

30th in yards allowed
27th in ypc allowed
30th in yards per game allowed
Dead Last in rushing TD's allowed

I'm happy as shit to see him have a good game, and it's a nice feel-good story. But I'm not ready to anoint him as the savior to our horrific running game.

Yeah, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves here. Panthers are so bad against the run but it is nice to see us exploit that for once. I'll believe he's for real when I see him tee off against even an average rushing defense.
