Why is it a surprise? Would we let a team be called the Chicago Niggers or the LA Wetbacks? How about the New York Kikes?

It should have been addressed long ago. It's one thing to have a name that is not derogatory, like the Blackhawks, Braves, Chiefs, etc. But Redskins is an obvious slur. And of course it will be blocked by a racist republican who likely does not see the harm because he's a self entitled WASP.
