Would Jeff Suppan bring anything to the Tigers? He's a free agent now.

Obviously, in the twilight of his career...

I always kinda would have liked to have Suppan pitch for the Tigers...

Would he bring anything? Or do I just want to see him pitch for the team I root for because I've been a long time fan (he's from the are where I live now, I've known a few people who have known him for quite some time and I've met him a couple of times at his jernt, he seems like a really nice guy)?

I like his starts this year, ER in consecutive starts: 0, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6. He went the wrong way. Not sure how he'd help.

I guess I could have called this thread "Is Soup On?"

Get it?

"Is - Soup - On?"

Get it?

Suppan has a few monuments mounted on the walls of his jernt that pay homage to significant games in his career, and two of those monyuments are about games against the Detroit Tigers.

One of them is a monument to Tiger Stadium itself; Suppan is very proud to have been one of the starting pitchers in the last game ever played there. He got shelled and the Tiges won that game 6-0.

The other monument is to the game in which he achieved his World Series win.

I kinda like the first one better.

Das how dey say "joint" in Brooklyn...

You probabl know that joint is slang for a few things, including like a bar, restaurant that kind of think.
