What do you think of the Lions going after Hillis?

Peyton Hillis probably won't be with Cleveland next year. What do you think of the Lions going after him? LeShoure might not be what he could have been after his injury and Best can't make it through a season.

Im kind of hoping the Titans dont give Chris Johnson his 8 million next year and the Lions make a play for him.

i'd prefer to see them go all out to improve the O line then the RB problems will take care of itself IMO.

not a whole lot of prime oline talent sniffs free agency.

Personally I don't like how Hillis is acting right now. Doesn't really seem like a team player. Ask me last season I'd be all for it, this season I'm wary of his attitude.

He's hurt dude...reports are his hammy is toast.

id draft an o-lineman and if we dont draft a rb why not try to work out a deal, best is getting to be an injury prone and leshoure could be terrible the rest of his career.

and it sucks being on a team thats not good but since we have guys like KVB suh delmas, hustle players, im sure it would rub off on him

I'm talking about the mid-week wedding, the strep throat, etc. I understand you can't play with a bad hammy, it's the other shit...that worries me, just my two euro...

I like Hillis, but I dont want him as a Lion. For one, he wouldnt be very effective behind this garbage run blocking. He has also been somewhat of a head case lately, and would also want a decent pay day. Pick up a more low profile guy, or use the draft pick on someone.

you gotta see how LeShoure can recover

Very rare a injury like that can make a guy useful. And it certainly won't be next year.

Why?? Stanton does a fine job holding the clip board.

Hillis, to me, is a dime a dozen guy. You could get talent like his in the later rounds of almost any draft.

Eh, I'll pass. Only had one good year and he quit on his team.
in reality his team quit on him when they went all out west.coast offense. its like when haynesworth got stuck in washingtons 3-4....same deal.

Haynesworth not a good example. He got cut from NE, all he had to do was put effort in. No doubt his new team will see the same thing, a big fat, rich lazy bastard.

I want Michael Bush. The only thing the guy doesn't have is breakaway speed. He can catch it, is great in goal line, and is a north-south runner.

Our running back situation right now is disappointing to say the least. Both of our high draft pick rbs have questionable futures. We have a bad run blocking oline although the past few weeks Morris has found some room as has williams. I dont like Hillis. He let his teammates down this year and hasnt handled the contract situation well.
