What was the knock on him coming out? I honestly don't remember.
Wasn't it an aggravated assault charge or two.. or three?

He was/is an asshole, I do remember that. Figured there had to be something else to be the 3rd tackle off the board, he was rated #1 on a lot of boards.

Please read this thread. Some Nostradamus shit going on and some really hilarious reactions across the board. Mayhew, seriously just let Lions fans crowdsource the pick in years to come.
Love the pick. Dynamic offense now. Both tes get plenty of snaps and compliment each other well. See how saints did it last year. Down the seam nightmare
But we will see how dennard, Donald, ha ha, beckham and fuller end up. Two in division
You know what's sad? 9.4 yards per catch, Calvin Johnson. Add in Tate who seems to disappear for big portions of each game.. Just not right.
I'm still not ready to appoint this guy as the second coming. Came in the 2nd half of the season against mostly inferior competition. Near the end of Lombardi's time, I saw some praise on this board for his FINALLY adjusted gameplan.
But the success this offense had came when the team was finished against bad competition. If a new GM comes in and he's let go as part of the overhaul, I won't shed a tear.
Second coming no. It's less an anointment of Cooter and more of an indictment of Lombardi. A first time OC shouldn't be able to step in and completely turn around an offense mid season, I don't care if the schedule was soft.
That's exactly what he did though. Stafford is the best I've ever seen him. Call me crazy, but I want to see a full year of a Cooter lead offense. All Stafford needed was a little Cooter, that was his problem.
