What?s the point in getting everyone pissed off if we?re already pissed off?

About time a player stood up and yapped about how =bad they all are playing..
 
Pretty vanilla if you ask me. Nothing wrong with that though. He's a team guy and didn't throw anyone under the bus and he could have for fun....
 
Yeah like what is anyone gonna say about Verlander. HAHA. I say let JV hit them w/ fastballs if they don't get a hit tonight.

The problem is it's a TEAM, and Verlander is not putting himself above that, and that's good. He could say stuff like OMG so-and-so sucks and throw guys under the bus, but that would just make him Jered Weaver.

I for one am glad he's as mature as he is. Not only the best pitcher in baseball, but a great sportsman and teammate.

He knows how to channel the emotion also and use it to his advantage on the field. That's what is missing from most of the offense.
