I don?t think twice and I pick the best QB I feel is on the board. For me, that?s Willis!!!

KT if Aiden is gone. He is bpa, need and best chanve at game changer.

Willis I understand but too many questionmarks..if Goff were in this qb class, he would be the top prospect

If Goff were eligible to be drafted right now...where would he go? Not as a prospect coming out of college, but with his current age and NFL resume.

Goff's skillset would go 2 like he went 1 in 2016. I think he is also better than everyone but maybe Willis and Willis is a completely different kind of QB. Any QB needy team would take him on a rookie deal that early for sure

I could see the value on a rookie deal. But Goff isn't a QB you waste a #2 pick on. At #2 you are looking for a game changing player or a LT that can play for you for 10-12 years at an all pro level. You wouldn't take a player that you already know is a middle of the road QB. Put it this way, would the Lions take #3 pick in this years draft for Goff right now? Or even #5 or 6 given his salary.
I certainly think they would.

That would prove Goff's value is a high 1st round pick though

And his contract makes his value a little different too right now

But the Rams took him 1 and traded a bunch to do that actually. He was a good prospect, better than the current crop this year. And for winning in 2022, Goff is the best option still. But if they take Willis I'll be on board. QB at 32 or 34, we'll see but I would understand the reasoning for sure long term. Would they double dip at QB in 2023 if they had the opportunity to draft a stud. A Josh Rosen type situation, I think they could, then try to trade Riddler or Howell or whoever they take. Or maybe keep both and have a good backup, time would tell.

This seems to be a weak class. KT and Travon Walker and Hamilton have talent but aren't sure fire Myles Garrett types. I don't see a Calvin Johnson or Joe Thomas either. Hamilton isn't better than Jamal Adams. No real stud CBs. Not even a stud TE in the top 15. Deep at WR and Edge and some good safeties available at 32 and 34 but I don't know if we are getting a sure fire game changer HOFer at 2. And that is just the Lions luck to have pick 2 in a class like this

i wanted them a year ago to acquire a bunch of picks and have a new rookie qb to make it worth watching for the fans. Thats when there were 3-4 quality options to pick at QB. Now there simply isnt and you have a veteran on your roster already thats going to start.

Just get picks....alot of them....theres no shortage of picks....there no number thats too high....we need young talent that can play. MLB, OLB, EDGE, S, G, WR, back up TE....all of it.

Dont waste a pick on a back up QB and i dont think Holmes will. I think Goff is still Holmes' guy.

Long term it wouldn't be a waste if whoever they pick is good. Nobody really concerned about a playoff run team in 2022. I think I like Willis, Pickett, Corral over Fields and Mac Jones after seeing both of them. Especially because that gives us Sewell on the roster, pick 32 this year, Ife and another 1st rounder next year.

Bears sitting there with Fields, a ton of holes and no 1st this year. Just a ton of cap space for next year but the Lions will have plenty too in their scenario plus pick 32, Ife and another 1st.

if youre playing the long term game anyways....then theres much better QBs comming out next year. GM would have to factor that in....especially when you have 2 firsts next year too and odds are the Rams pick will be better then 32 next year.

True but we don't know where the Lions will be picking to get those future QBs. Young and Stroud could go 1 and 2 in 2023 and Lions pick like 12th. Would suck to have to trade up for a QB and give up 2023 Rams pick and maybe more. That would be at least 3 picks used on a QB instead of one (pick 32 this year). Stroud or Young better be worth the hype if you give use 3 picks for them. Howell was the top guy going into this year and look what happened there. And that Oklahoma QB Rattler who got benched.

All depends how good you think Howell and Ridder or Strong or anyone at 32 could be too. If you feel good about them long term, you think about it, if not then BPA safety, WR or ILB or even DT if they are far and away best prospect. Think Willis would be BPA if he magically fell to 32

We should redo this poll and have Deebo as an option. 4-days away, I don?t think Thibs gets 66% of the votes right now.

They could be completely happy with their offense after Chark signing. Imagine how quick KT, Quay Walker and Cine could flip this defense.

Well Chark and a rookie WR on a 4/5 year deal cheap. Plus St Brown, Hock, Swift. And then Reynolds and Cephus in support

Deebo is interesting and a good player but giving him 20-25 per would be a mistake

Draft a edge rusher or trade down for more darts on the draft board.

ESPN saying walker is the unanimous #1 pick. If Hutchinson falls in our laps all of this is moot.....we should have the card turned in before Walker shakes Goodell's hand.

Beating the Packers Week 18 and getting Hutchinson. Now that sounds good to me
