Need to get get your gear on... Wings need the help!!!!! We have lost two freaking games to the terrible Flames being outscored 9-3.. Man all of the bad teams we have lost to this year..

Well that was a crappy 1st period down 1-0 but it could be 3-0...I guess some teams just have your number..

stupid way to lose a hockey game... combine that stupidity with a very slow start and thats what you get. The Flames sure have the Wings number this year despite having an awful team. All i can say is I sure wont be sad when Kiprusoff decides to retire.

A sharpshooter would have been nice, but when playing the bottom tier you MUST win no matter what. This is just unacceptable and inexcusable. Maybe they don't want it bad enough or something, hard to say, but they better get their shit together in a hurry.

Wings had their chances Datsyuk and Andersson both missed open nets. I dont think it was lack of effort, more missed opportunities, stupidity by howard and Ericsson and a couple of nice bounces for the flames. The Flames also match up well with the Wings which is why games against them are often frustrating to watch.

Out shot them 38-17... And I believe it was like a really big difference after that terrible first period.. If we have a goal scorer we win that game easy.. Zetterberg and PD are play-makers who sometimes score goals.. we need a pure goal scorer.. To many missed nets tonight.. A clang off the post that beat kipper-dick easy... Should never lose 1 to this team let alone 3 games... Oh nice work Howard... He lets two easy soft goals in with just terrible puck play..

2 points back.. Jackets want it more then we do... I knew the ducks were going to give up the lead... They are clear in second by 4 points... They would much rather have a team like the jackets in the playoffs over the wings just in case we did find out way to 7th place.. We own the Ducks this year.. they would much rather face the blues or Jacket's then us...

Five games left... Probably have to go 4-1 now to make the playoffs now.. Maybe 3-2 gets you in at 53 points but i doubt it now.. damn I am pissed off

I think my biggest issue with this team is that we still play puck possession, but only have two players (Zetts, Dats) who can actually possess the puck. This game was an especially egregious example, but we consistently give up the puck to simple back-checks. More, it seems like Kronwall and Dekeyser might be the only defenders on the team that can win a fight for the puck in the corner. We need more talent, obviously, but maybe we need to alter our style of play a little bit as well.

Yeah our defenders stink except a few... The more i watch Smith the more i see he needs to be in West Michigan. Kid makes to many mistakes... Erickson never seems to take that nest step to being a really great player.. Danny D. is a big kid i need to see more of before i can tell what we have... He seems like a keeper.. I think Kindal has improved...I just don't like Kyle Quincey.. he is just a really soft defender... a bad combo to have for a defensive-man

Holland has really come up short the last few season... He needs to step his game back up...

howard lost this game with his lazy puck handling.

cleary has become a tomato can out there, he gets shoved off the puck with ease and has no speed anymore.

filpula is soft and gets shut down by physical, tight checking teams routinely.

franzen is one of the most streaky players i've ever seen.

samuelsson and tootoo were terrible signings by KH.

this team has no identity on defense, and makes 2-3 bad linechanges a game that lead to breakaways and odd man rushes.

we need more grit on defense and less finesse players, we have too many of those.
