Wolverine Hockey update 10/27/18

Season started last week and the wolverines are the only Big Ten team not to notch a win last weekend . Vermont pummeled Michigan in Ann Arbor 5-2. They split the two exhibition games winning 7-4 and losing 6-3. So it appears the team has no defense after three games. Michigan will play Western Michigan twice next weekend.

#11 Michigan wins a wild one in Ann Arbor 6-5 over #19 Western Michigan 6-5 . Team can score . Defense needs to get way better. Michigan is 1-1 now and teams,play again Saturday in Kalamazoo.

Fell to 1-2 another poor defensive effort losing 5-4 in Kalamazoo after leading 4-3 going into the third period.

Hey the defense shows up in a 3-0 Win over St. Lawrence. Team improves to 2-2 and goes for the sweep Saturday. The saints fall to 1-4. Wolverines out shot them 40-16.
