Were always discussing "Tiger Killers" now its time to mention THE Yankee Killer just because its so funny lmao.

Delmon Young last 12 games against the Yankee's: (5 Last Playoffs, 6 Regular Season this year and tonight's playoff game)

Just Postseason Numbers:
9 for 25
1 2B
4 HR 6 RBI
.360 AVG

Overall Numbers:
19 for 49
3 2B
4 HR 6 RBI
.387 AVG

We have so much hate for him so lets give some love I guess lol.

Also, his 6th post season home run makes him the franchise leader, passing Hank Greenberg, and Craig Monroe.

File it under WTF.

that is really strange he managed 10-24 in the reg season versus the yanks and had 0 RBI.

good numbers tho

These are exceptional numbers.
It's kind of hard to explain, that even though most all of us want to see him do well because it helps the team win, I guess we get so upset or dislike him because we see the terrible swings and misses in just about every single at bat. For the season that's 500 plus times. Add in the baserunning, and before his problem back in May his fielding.
Well I just hope he hits at this rate for 3 more wins vs. them, and another 4 wins there after.
