"the network [Fox News] has decided to stop being the butt of everyone else?s jokes and start making some jokes of its own. It?s doing so with The Greg Gutfeld Show, a ?comedic news hour? hosted by Fox News commentator/humorist Greg Gutfeld." Link.

Let's see just how hilarious race baiting, anti-intellectual commentary, regressive social and economic policies, and bombing/killing people can be!

I'm kind of curious to see what they come up with. It has to be a train wreck, doesn't it?

Doing satire or comedy doesn't really seem to be most conservatives' forte.

Fox News kinda reminds me of the "Ministry of Truth" in George Orwell's 1984.

What about 'redeye' and Dennis Miller, former MTV VJ Kennedy and that hilarious stand up comedian Glenn Beck?!

That whole morning show is supposed to be funny, right? Because it is ...it's like watching SNL parody a news morning show.

Thumb hasn't chimed in yet but when he does, it's an official circle jerk!

Erm...well...I did post "most"...but I often find myself laughing @ them, rather than with them.

Such as the cradle-robbing, but holier than thou art (and now former) MO. SOTH John Diehl who was recently caught sexting with his 18 y.o. mistress, with whom he apparently was having an affair:

It has everything else though - unfounded accusations of racism, the board's faux intellectual calling conservatives anti-intellectual, labeling free market economics regressive - as opposed to his favored systems and their undisputed record of failure. Don't fret, chump's lap dog will be along soon enough and the circle will be complete - he's probably still looking up some of the big words from the OP's rant so he can be sure he knows what he's being told to think

Since that channel is already a 24 hour joke, maybe a comedy hour will be serious news.

Do you think it will be any good?

Probably not.

I doubt I'll watch it.

I almost never watched Jon Stewart or Colbert or Letterman (I did watch when Obama was on for the last time) or Leno or Craig Ferguson, and I almost never watch Kimmel or that guy who replaced Leno and I highly doubt I'll watch Colbert when he takes over for Leno.

I haven't seen SNL in years.

I only want to see it once.

Fascinating post.

I bet it was really good at first, but that edit after you re-read it really drove the point home.

Solid A-

Damn I happen to be up watching Letterman again and he's pretty funny.

Maybe I should have been staying up late all these years, even though technically I was a contractor to the Tonight Show?

We watched letterman just about every night freshman year in SQ after going over to the union and getting subway or pizza.
