Zadina sent to Grand Rapids

I think this is last year for Svechnikov to make it with Detroit. If he dosen't crack the roster during the season he's gonna be another Janmark/Jarnkrok. Offensively gifted player who languished too long in the minors who will have to change his role to break onto another squad.
 
Sulak, Hickets, and Hronek are still with team due to injuries in defence.


To be honest, I'd take all 3 over Ericsson and perhaps Jensen. Nothing against Jensen, he plays his role well, but these guys have upside to grow while Jensen is already peaked.
 
None really big surprises.. Zadina needs some time at Grand Rapids. But from I saw this preseason I could see why he was a top prospect. His stick handling is really good.
 
And I must have missed it but what happened to our late first round pick..
 
Veleno was dropped a while ago.


Witkowski, Hickets, and Hronek were sent to minors yesterday.


Sulak will be the 7th d-man for now.
 
Why isn’t he learning on the job in Detroit .. Please Holland retire now !
