Dewitt is a Lansing power house that never seems to be able to get over the hump. They are 0-4 I believe in title games losing in 1989 class B final, and losing title games in 2002/03,04 in both D-3 and d-4.... Other Lansing schools are envious of Dewitt and roll their eyes when they have to play them.. Points for/against 460/104 as their defense has pitched 4 shutouts and beat St. Clair in the semis 21-20 and looks like they needed a td in the fourth to pull it out..

Zeeland West I also know a lot about as Byron Center plays in their conference. When the Zeeland schools spilt into two schools in 2005 they hired one of the best coaches in the state in John Shillto .
Shillito, 54, has led three teams to four finals — Muskegon Orchard View in 1995 and 1999, East Kentwood in 2002 and Zeeland West in 2006. The 2006 Dux team won the state championship in D-4.. He also won the d-4 the title game in 2011..Points for/against are a whopping 636/276 with zero shutouts but who cares when you are up 30.... Their Wing-t Offense is averaging 48.9 a game..
The team crushed everyone moving up from d-4 to d-3 in the playoffs this year.

I really think the only team left in D-3 out of the final 8 teams that had a shot to beat ZW was Byron Center.. We had a bad second half and fumbled the ball to many times without even being hit..LOL ..
The Fumble before Halftime was on a jet sweep and our kid just dropped the ball flood gates happened after that in that regular season game.

Holy dumb coaching... All ZW had to do was keep it in bounds and Dewitt would have only about 10 seconds left after the punt which is only ZW's 6th of the year..

Then Dewitt kid roughs the kicker...
