The Lions were mathematically dead, and then Stafford worked his magic.
The Vikings held a 99.9% win probability per ESPN right after the go-ahead touchdown.

Lions CB Nevin Lawson limped very heavily leaving the Lions locker room. He was hurt in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win. It seemed as if he was using his roller bag to help move him along as he limped out of the locker room. After the game, his left calf was wrapped and he sat on a trainer’s table.

Detroit Lions Week 9 Game Ball: Matt Prater.

The Lions allowed just one sack vs. Minnesota, one year after Matthew Stafford twice needed X-rays, sacking Stafford eight times and leveled 21 hits on him in two games last year, bruising his ribs, his hand and the collective ego of the Detroit Lions' offensive line in the process.

The Lions are the first team to win 5 games when trailing in the 4th quarter, within their first 9 games of the season since the 1982 Raiders. The Lions and Browns are the 2 teams that have trailed in the 4th quarter of every game this season.
Elias Sports Bureau

The NFC North race tightened considerably in Week 9 following the Lions' victory over the Vikings and the Packers' loss to the Colts. The Packers have the very early tiebreaker advantage by virtue of a 2-1 division record, but this thing could realistically go in any of three different directions during the second half of the season. Buckle up.

Matthew Stafford moved up one more place in all-time passing yards Sunday, throwing past Ron Jaworski (28,190 yards) to move into 54th place all-time.
Stafford now has 28,349 yards.
Next up is Trent Green with 28,475 and Chris Chandler with 28,484.

It’s the 25th career game in which he’s led the Lions to a win in come-from-behind fashion late. He’s simply ice cold in those high-pressure situations.

Marvin Jones Jr. dropped his sixth pass of the season in the game. Coming into this season, Jones had six drops through his entire career. Jones was targeted five times in the game, but caught just one for five yards.

GOOD AS GOLD AFTER THE CATCH.
Per ESPN Stats & Info, Golden Tate picked up 15 yards after the catch, and 12 yards after contact, on the game-winning TD reception.
He has been much better after the catch in his last three games.

I didn't care for the move either. Make sure you get the TD first and then showboat. Too many times have players made costly mistakes starting the celebration too early.

Lions signed him to a good contract based on Caldwell's assessed value. Lions signed him for 3 million a year. Solid gold Prater (195 lbs) is worth $3,665,963.44 based on current spot price of $1,289.13 per Troy ounce.

Yesterday was like an Ice Cube video for me, "in south central PA today was a good day." Great fucking game, great fucking win!

Officiating was pretty solid yesterday IMO, aside from the obvious pi on Marvin Jones they missed

Celebrate? Was he talking about the flip? Because if he was, he was right. I thought Tate was losing that ball lol.

I know he was.. Well Tony I View His flip As a celebration cause he knew we were winning the game at the moment. I guess Bradshaw and the other guy viewed it as showboating and didn't like it and mentioned it. I didn't care because it was a lions win as he did make a great play which they sort of overlooked because they were miffed at his excessive flip. But whatever it was a great play.. glad he scored..

His call was fantastic on both. Miller for the Lions and Dickerson for the Tigers are both so good .

Roberts drives us crazy on returns but the kid has made some clutch catches late in games.

Hey, i wasnt mad at the flip. Do what you want!! I was just nervous that he was going to fumble out of the endzone and we were going to get fucked lol. It would have been classic SOL. Im glad it never happened but i aged 5 years watching him do it lol.

This is EXACTLY how I felt. I have no problem with the flip.....I loved it, actually!! I'd rather see Tate play with some heart and enthusiasm than his normal stoic self.

I was just afraid he'd fumble before the ball crossed and we'd find another way to lose.

5-4

1/2 game out

7 games to go.....4 of em at home.

And if I'm not mistaken......we should be close to 100% healthy by game time on the 20th.!!!

So how about the depth. Roberts some big plays. Bademosi solid enough. Corey Robinson did well. Glasgow taking over for laken. Washington runs hard. Riddick for abdullah is good enough so far

Bynes improved. Williams doing solid for a rookie lb. Heavy dt rotation. Hyder looking good.

Bush and Killebrew play but need to step up

This team is deep
