*Michigan Football Recruiting '19 thread

I guess he didnt even tell any of our coaches he was changing to Bama. They found out on Twitter. Bama visited him for a secrete in home visit on Friday and he changed on Saturday.

Hill flipped weeks ago. At least 7-14 days ago they kept blasting it on my iPad. It’s been on my iPad news for over 10 days. Or maybe I am thinking of Gray. Damn its shame either way hate losing guys to southern schools. Bound to Happen after Brown’s defense was torched for 62 in Columbus.

Had Bama lost and UM won, you really think he wouldn't have still switched to Alabama? They were guaranteed to be in the playoffs regardless, based on Finebaum, et al and have won a number of SEC/National titles...

If a kid like that isn't truly committed, anything can become an excuse.

Especially a duffel bag of cold, hard cash.

I dont think it was a bag of cash. It was one of those BMW 850i's that the 5* get to drive. Nothing to see, here, folks!!

I'm just pointing out that it is extremely easy for teams like Bama to recruit against us. They have a ton of negative recruiting ammo.

We haven't even shared a conference title since 2004 (when this recruiting class was 3 - 4 years old), we've never played in Indy, we're 3-16 against OSU since 2000, we're 6-10 in bowl games since 2000, and obviously we've never been in the playoffs.

They don't need a bagman to flip guys from us.

That's what I said ...I don't think the osu game is why a kid would de-commit and change his mind. I doubt he was ever really coming to A2

Wouldn't surprise me. His list of schools was Bama, Clemson, Arkansas, Baylor, and us.

One of these things is not like the others.

That was at least 2 weeks before Dax Hill flipped to Alabama. Michigan coaches talked with him on the 2nd wednesday after the game and he told them he was solid. 2 days later he flipped to Alabama, so like I said: Alabama had a bag of trophies last week and Dax Hill already saw what happened in the Michigan vs OSU game. What changed in 2 days?

He already knew about all of that stuff when he chose Michigan over Alabama the first time.

I'm not saying that Alabama isn't the better choice. Hell! It is, but you tell me why he ever verbally committed to Michigan? What changed?

So he was required to change his mind as soon as the clock read 0:00 in our game?

Maybe he took a bit of time to think and then decided he wanted to play somewhere else.

At this point, I'm not sure why any recruit at his level would commit to Michigan.
