Detroit Lions - Team Notes

Jim Caldwell on his defensive line: "We're not quite like a hockey line but we rotate guys in there quite a bit."

Lions QB Matthew Stafford appreciates the creativity in the Lions offense and how OC Jim Bob Cooter allows him to get in and out of plays. He seems more comfortable in it now.

Jared Abbrederis and Antwione Williams were new names to the Lions sitting out practice Wednesday -- a day quarterback Matthew Stafford seemed "OK." Stafford said the Lions offense has tried to be aggressive throughout spring workouts -- something evident by the deep balls they've been throwing.
Some have led to interceptions (including one by Quandre Diggs on Wednesday) but the shots downfield have felt more frequent this spring. It'll be interesting to see if that continues Thursday as the Lions wrap up minicamp and spring workouts.
