Verlander now has 22 games with 10+ strikeouts in his career -- 4th-most by a Tigers pitcher since at least 1918. He trails Jim Bunning (24), Jack Morris (25) and Mickey Lolich (54).

I think it is going to have to come down to JV or Miggy. I don't think they can afford all 3 of those guys and still be able to fill out a competitive roster.
