All he is doing is stoking class warfare, playing a stupid shell game in an attempt to grab power by duping a bunch of rubes to vote for him so he can transform the greatest nation in the history of the world into just another failed experiment of an amoral ideology.

So no, he's not "our boy" and he has no shot at the nomination so you might as well just use that $100 to light a cigar or something equally stupid that you might actually get some pleasure from, however fleeting.

It's the billionaire's fault that those tens of thousands of Americans toiling under medical debt, student loan debt, payday loans, etc and never getting ahead? On most occasions it's their own fault for making poor decisions. Work harder and make good decisions and most of those problems go away.

It’s pretty bad taste-not surprisingly I was a little bit amused by it-so I’m not going to post it and it doesn’t even deserve it’s on thread; I’m just wondering if anybody has seen it.

Bernie Sanders is a “subject” of the scene so I think it’s not inappropriate to bring it up on this thread.

no, people aren't poorer. Poor people in America today are better off than the richest Americans were just a few generations ago. But that doesn't help Bernie Sanders get into power so he plays the shell game and points to the rich and says it's the wealth gap that matters when what really matters is the overall level of poverty.

People who are poorer and more in debt are in that position largely because of bad decisions arrived at because of our moronic tax code, moronic monetary and fiscal policy and many other moronic big government ideas like welfare, the minimum wage, etc, etc. We forced well paying manufacturing jobs overseas (primarily because of absurdly high wages), we deflate prices and the value of the dollar incentivizing consumerism over saving, we drive the price of education through the roof with cheap student loans, and soon we're going to have to bail out a generation of consumers because they haven't saved enough for retirement. And fools like you are going to say it's because of billionaires and you're going to push for more of the same policies that got us in this mess in the first place. none of this is wrong, but it's bad and going to get worse if we let stupid people like Bernie Sanders and the rubes who support him have their way.
