Steelers loss

And by the way, the series when we were down 30-27. 1st and 10 drop Riddick, 2nd and 10 drop Ross (would have been a first down).

Then a force to Calvin in double coverage on a play that worked earlier in the game.

4th best means jack shit when we have guys wide open and Stafford misses them....the entire first qtr was awful.

He did have a bad 1st quarter but played much better after that. Too many drops and horrible playcalling.

And dont discredit Pittsburgh as the 4th best defense. You love to point out how Detroits D is bottom of the league. It goes both ways.....

The one on ESPN. Yes they do. PFF has their own where they factor out drops and throw aways and spikes and batted balls.

And like I said QBS with similar attempts as Stafford have around 20-25 drops.

Plus Stafford has most batted balls against him.

Stafford has played well this year. PFF ranks Stafford as the 3rd best QB overall. But I'm sure the haters will come up with some excuse why others aren't higher.

Im too lazy to look it up bro. If you can, what are the comp percentages for ESPN and PFF? Thanks!!

Come on.. 3-6 says over wise and only averaging 19 points a game going into the Lions game.. Pittsburgh was not a good football team going in and 2 defensive starters were out..

Now is Pittsburgh a proud franchise not used to losing ..
Yes.
But don't mix that up with being good..

Records dont mean everything bud. Pittsburgh won a couple in a row, then the Lions come to town. Im not saying we shouldnt have won but the Steelers are a good team

Antonio Brown and Big Ben are good players. So is Heath Miller. Le'Veon Bell who they missed early in the year has talent. Cotchery is having a decent year for them too. Since they switched Beachem from a terrilbe Mike Adams at LT their line has been better. DeCastro is a beast.

Steelers may be 3-6 coming in, but they were 2-2 at home and won 3 out of their last 5. Their defense was also much better at home. They turned around an 0-4 start just like the Giants have been doing. Ravens, Giants and Steelers may be having down years but they are still tough teams, especially on the road.

Stop acting like we got beat by a shitty team.

And Staff is a hell of a QB. Should be in the Pro Bowl.....

Yeah he is Detroit's ever best but he does over throw guys..Hitting Bush on the first over throw would have been huge.Bush would have walked into the end zone.Lions probably do not make a deep playoff run unless he starts really taking it to the next level. receivers and Scott L. need to start helping him more too.. He has to be better then 19/46.. But a lot of factors went in
to that bad game including drops, over throws, weather, and coaching..

Yes Stafford missed some throws early. Sorry he didn't score 50 in the first half instead of 27. Tough break on that one.

Stafford did make plays in the second half. One good drive (that on 3rd and 5 should been PI then a fake FG taking 3 off the board (30 points now)). He made plays but had 2 drops in one drive down 30-27 before the force to Calvin. And down 10, he threw a bomb to Ogletree that was dropped that would have put us in Steeler territory for a miracle.

Not true Tony
They beat buffalo 23-10 lost to NE 55-31 and lost to Oakland 21-18 in their three previous games.. Now they have won two in a row now thanks to the Lions having idiot coaches..
They have won four of six since LOSING FOUR IN A ROW. But nothing in those wins to me say
they are a good football team.

Going in they were 3-6.. Lions coaches, and players let a bad team beat them.. It sort of shows we are not ready to take it to the next level...Had a chance to bury them in the second quarter and did not take it...

Ok, they struggled at the beginning of the year but teams like Oakland and Buffalo have improved. Maybe ill go with Pittsburgh is a decent team? lol.

i wont argue that. The whole team needs to wake up from that loss. i have full confidence in this offense snd think they're going to score everytime they step on the field. defense, not so much....

Oakland is 4-6
NYJ 5-5
Buffalo 4-7
Lions 6-4

Only teams Pittsburgh has beaten

Better argument is Pittsburgh is a proud franchise.. Detroit is not..
frustrating but Detroit should have won Sunday...We have more talent.
Pittsburgh does have better coaches..

Dick Labeau for one..
Mike Tomlin for two.
