WikiLeaks revealing how scummy the DNC is

There will be anecdotal differences but I'd venture to say that a good percentage of the crowd couldn't name the three branches of government

There is a good chance most Americans couldn't name the 3 branches of government.

But our standard change with time. The longer people live on average, the higher the stakes. We're making fewer babies and they're living longer than ever before, so we're less tolerant to losing a few along the way.

Well I don't know that participants in hazardous sports die from those activities at a rate proportionate to all the other shit people die from to have much of an impact on the macro/sociological element that you're introducing.

You're right; I don't think the reality of the risk impacts attitudes. But I do think our attitude about risk is changing. We're also bad about estimating risk, so the things we're going to flip out about might not always make sense. like we should freak out about handguns, not assault rifles. And before we freak out over either of those, we should freak out over the dirt cheap calories everywhere in foods with little to no nutritional value. Compared to cheap sugar, CTE and concussions are molehills.

Trump isn't the only one benefiting from a stupid electorate in this election.

But of the two he is the least qualified. He may win but it has to be killing fans of the right that this is all they could come up lol. Probably a big reaction to the do nothing Congress which is being by the which party ?

In before "Graduating college doesn't mean you're smart, it means you know how to obey." (Or some similiar self gratifying bullshit)

Heaven forbid we say that people with more education are generally smarter than those who are less educated.
