Josh Jackson to kansas, possibly tonight.

Change of plans.......he now wants to announce at midnight.......on the moon.

you're on fire today. Thanks for the laughs! This thing has gotten ridiculous. Can't wait until 8:30 to not watch the presser or look at twitter. I feel like following this kid just so I can unfollow him.

You can only laugh with a recruitment like this.

By all accounts he's a good kid, but anyone saying he's not whoring this out is kidding themselves.

This next decision will be the really important one IMO

Hopefully DD makes up his mind soon.

Mom wins, the family drama was/is very real here

ackson's mother Apples Jones spoke exclusively with Rivals.com and broke down her role in helping her son find a school and why she felt Kansas won out.

"For myself my goal was to find out which schools had his best interest and all I wanted to do was report back to Josh on what I found," said Jones. "When I say best interest I'm talking for the long haul and as a person and not just a basketball player. He's invested a lot in his future success and I've invested a lot in his future and we wanted him to go somewhere that he felt he could continue on that road."

"(Kansas) had the plan and roadmap and they laid it out for me," said Jones. "I could see the future they had planned for Josh from his freshman year to his senior year. I could also see that they cared about him more as a person than as a basketball player

Excuse me while I go vomit.

No.....Johnny2X2X told us there was no drama with the Jackson camp......so you must be mistaken.
No idea where that was coming from. Everything I read from analysts and former players said that the conflict was real. Every few weeks the staff would hear he was committing to Kansas and then they would talk to Josh directly and he'd say he wants to go to MSU. It's not like Kansas is a prison but I think JJ was just trying to keep everyone in his camp happy ahead of himself. There should be some more stories that come out after he actually signs his LOI. There's some news that's being held back on the off chance that he changes his mind.

It's telling that his commitment was on twitter with no further comment, no quotes from JJ, no congrats from bridges or Winston or his gf. All quotes coming from his mom.

Been reading some very weird comments from her this morning. It sounds as if she was taking the recruiting trips, not with him, but FOR him. Alone? That's just fucking weird.

So when he is a free agent in the NBA, is he going to have mommy pick his team and meet with the owners? If he really wanted msu over Kansas he has to step up for himself.

Pfft at this point. Just have to hope we can keep Davis and go into next year with a still very talented roster.

And he'll have to hope he doesn't become the next Josh Selby/Xavier Henry/Joel Embiid/Kelly Oubre/Cliff Alexander to come out of Kansas.

Ha. No doubt she will be his agent next year when he goes to sign that NBA contract.
