Seriously... The backend of the rotation is shit... When I say, backend I mean 3 thru 5... This is not news to anyone following the Tigers... Here is what I propose, for now...
1. Zimmerman
2. Verlander
3. Norris
4. Fulmer
5. Sanchez
Demote Pelfrey, and hopefully Greene can come back and replace one of the rookies soon (Fulmer)... He has HUGE upside, but is not ready... He needs a third pitch, cause FB/Slider combo is not enough...
WTF are they waiting for on Norris? Saw him for his one inning at Baltimore a week or so ago, his stuff is more than MLB ready... He may be young, but he is definitely a better option than Pelfrey... He has a "sneeky" fastball, very good curve, and very good changeup... I understand not wanting to rush him because with refinement, he could end up being a #1...
Where was that concern with Verlander? In 2006, it was throw him out there because we didn't have any other choice. Guess what...
It is now 2016, we don't have any other choice, the rotation should be best stuff regardless how young they are...
